This is a Louisville Stoneware canister in the "Bachelor Button," also known as the "Cornflower" pattern.
The Bachelor Button pattern features hand-painted blue cornflowers and long dark green stems on a subtle light gray glaze.
This pattern was created by artist Edith Ellis during John B. Taylor's time at Stoneware & Co., located in Louisville, Kentucky.
Great condition and displays beautifully. No cracks or chips. Some minor manufacturing imperfections (like a popped air bubble on the inside of the lid as pictured).
Measurements:
Without a lid: 6 high x 5 1/2” dia.
With a lid: 8 high x 6” dia.
