Sivānubhūti Stava is an outpouring from the heart of Acharya Sri Ramanacharana Tirtha Swami, similar to the ecstatic slokas of Sivanandalahari from the heart of Sri Sankara Bhagavatpada. The terms Siva-ānanda and Siva-anubhūti both indicate the same blissful Self-Experience. The only purpose of human life is to recognise this Sivānubhūti.

While writing the Malayalam commentary of Sivanandalahari, several slokas gushed forth from the heart of Swami, which has finally resulted in these slokas where the sweetness of bhakti is intertwined with the profound depths of Jñāna. Reading and contemplating these rapturous outpourings is sure to give a taste of that transcendental experience.
